Lara is a registered psychologist who offers a warm, collaborative, and emotionally grounded approach to therapy. Drawing from attachment theory and Schema Therapy, her work is particularly focused on understanding and exploring early wounds, engaging with unhealed parts of the self, and reconnecting with core emotional needs from a place of safety and self-compassion. She supports adolescents (16+) and adults across a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, identity concerns, attachment and relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, and life transitions. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities—including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—tailored to each person's unique context and therapeutic goals. At the heart of Lara's practice is a belief in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship. She offers a consistent and attuned space where unhelpful patterns can be gently explored, and more authentic, compassionate ways of relating to self and others can be cultivated.
