Lee aims to come alongside the people he works with, to co-explore and make sense of their experience and unique circumstances within a safe and caring environment. Within this therapeutic relationship Lee aims to facilitate the development of new and healthier ways of dealing or coping with life challenges for lasting effect.
Lee works with adults, utilising a psychodynamic approach as well as an integration of other therapies, including CBT and Family Systems. Lee works with his clients to develop self-awareness in people as well as a deep understanding of how their thoughts and feelings influence behaviour and choices. Together with his clients he builds on this to help them develop more adaptive and fulfilling ways of addressing life’s difficulties.
Lee works with people who are experiencing, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family related problems, developmental trauma, relationship difficulties, relational trauma, and adult ADHD.
Lee also has experience related to organisational settings, including, organisational mental health promotion, sustainability, psychological coaching, organisational change and development, stress management and work life balance.
Lees Masters research focused on human decision making within the context of climate change and when not at work Lee enjoys spending time in nature especially if that involves surfing.
