Michelle is a warm, intuitive and compassionate Clinical Psychology registrar with over 5 years of experience in the field of mental health. Michelle welcomes adult and older adolescent (15+ years) clients from diverse backgrounds, embracing different cultures, sexualities, and gender identities.

Michelle prioritises creating a meaningful therapeutic relationship and fostering a safe, nurturing space where clients can freely explore their concerns. She works collaboratively with clients to tailor therapy according to their individual needs and goals. Utilising an integrative approach to therapy, Michelle works through a psychodynamic and trauma-informed lens and draws from modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and narrative therapy where appropriate. She has worked with clients in areas including anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, loss, grief, relationship concerns, identity and self-esteem, PTSD and complex trauma.

Michelle has a particular interest in complex trauma and in supporting individuals on their healing journey. She recognises the profound impact trauma can have on one’s psyche and interpersonal relationships. By exploring unconscious patterns, unresolved emotions, and the complex dynamics associated with trauma, Michelle assists clients in gaining insight, processing their experiences, and fostering lasting transformative change.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), a Master of Clinical Psychology, and a PhD from a previous career in science. As a member of the Australian Psychological Society, she remains committed to upholding professional and ethical standards, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to her clients.
